The problem

Domain registrar email services that delivered quick email infrastructures for new companies were starting to hinder growth in the business. The email delivery mechanism soon required constant management at the storage and email client level. Synchronisation issues were causing the duplication of outgoing mail, and the existing system did not allow users to send and receive their emails on the go.

The solution

MS Office 365 was implemented. The hosted email element of this suite of products was configured across email clients. Email account and storage issues were resolved.

To do this, we had to oversee the migration to Office 365, which involved associating the domain, creating the appropriate MX records and creating the users, before updating the DNS records and migrating away from the pre-existing email system.

We backed up all contacts and emails before moving them across to the new system, then reinstalled the latest Office components, ensuring access to the most up-to-date software. Finally, we set up the ability to send and receive emails on various laptops and mobile devices, affording flexibility on the move.

Our solution has already proved to be more cost-effective and easier to control than its on-site equivalent, and is hosted and managed within the cloud by Microsoft.
